How to Clean Tec Power Grout?
Here are the 5 steps that you can follow to clean tec power grout, in complete detail.
Step 1: Wipe Down with Hot Water
First, wipe down the grout with hot water to remove surface dirt and grime. For Tec Power Grout, spills should be wiped up immediately.
But, if any stains are left behind, you can scrub the grout with some warm water using a nylon scrubbing pad. This will take away most of the stains.
Once you’re done here, move on to the next step in our list. It tends to have more stubborn stains.
Step 2: Apply Cleaning Solution
Now it’s time to apply some cleaning solution to the grout surface. This is for advanced cleaning.
You can make your own in a spray bottle by mixing a 50-50 solution of vinegar and water. Now, spray on the grout, let it stand for five minutes.
Once the five minutes are over, scrub it with a brush. Use a toothbrush or some other scrub brush for the grout.
For some more scrubbing power, you can use an electric toothbrush. Don’t use a metal brush for the best power brush for cleaning grout. It will scratch the tile and can knock out pieces of the grout.
Rinse thoroughly with warm water when you’re done here. You can also use commercially prepared cleaning solutions or diluted bleach.

Step 3: Clean Stubborn Stains
Now, let’s try to bring out eyes to stubborn stains. In this case, we have to pull off a different approach.
For stubborn grout stains, put together a paste of two parts baking soda and one part water. Apply it to the stain and let it sit overnight.
The scrub the grout with a nylon brush. Rinse thoroughly with hot water when you’re done.
In case you have a porous tile like marble, use a lesser acidic solution. The reason behind this being that vinegar can stain your tile as well.
Now, mix one-part peroxide with two parts baking soda and scrub the grout with a soft brush.

You can also use sandpaper to remove stains from grout. Fold the sandpaper and work the creased edge back and forth along the grout line.

Step 5: Apply Grout Sealer
Once you’ve finished cleaning, let the grout dry for 24 hours. After that, put on a silicone-based grout sealer to protect from stains and dirt in the future.
