3 Cleaning Techniques For Black Bathroom Floor Tiles

Everyone wants to keep their house healthy and clean. And cleaning the bathroom is not an easy task. People struggle to clean their washrooms. Especially in the case of black bathroom tiles.

Black tiles are elegant and look ravishing. But to maintain the tiles, it needs daily cleaning. Otherwise, it will look awful. For black tiles, only cleaning with harpic will not be enough.

We have mentioned 3 easiest methods with some tricks you can use while cleaning black tiles.

Method 1 of 3: Using Lemon Juice

Lemon has good natural acidic characteristics, making it an effective cleaning product. The nicest part about this technique is that lemons are readily available in your home.

To clean your bathroom tile, fill a spray bottle with enough lemon juice. After that, squirt lemon juice around the floor. Wipe the floor down with a light moist towel. Alternatively, you can also soak the cloth directly with lemon juice and use it to wipe the floor. To get better results, use warm water while wiping.

It is among the most fundamental techniques to clean dark bathroom tiles. And you can do it on a regular basis to keep your black tiles shiny and new.

Method 2 of 3: Using White Vinegar

Vinegar is mostly used as a detergent product to clean anything. It is a natural disinfectant that works as a great tile cleaner as well.

For this method, mix 1 or 2 cups of white vinegar with around 1-1.5litre of warm water. You can use a bucket for this. Then wash the bathroom tiles with it.

You can use a spray bottle to get better outcomes. Fill the bottle with white vinegar and water with the same ratio. Then spritz it on the dirty sections and scrub it.

You can also apply the mixture with a moist towel. Do this 3 times a week to keep your bathroom tiles clean and shiny.

Vinegar can be used to clean any bathroom tile. That’s what we love about this method so much. It’s quite flexible and hassle-free.

Method 3 of 3: Using bleach and baking soda

If your black bathroom tiles have stubborn stains, bleach and baking soda mixture can work wonders. It’s quite an efficient way to remove stubborn stains and molds.

To remove the mold on your bathroom tiles, don’t just wipe away with any cleanser. Mix around 10% bleach and 90%  water into a bucket and wipe them with it. It will aid in the removal of mold from black tiles. But remember, excessive bleach can hamper the tiles.

However, if there are stubborn stains on black tiles, only bleach will not work. You must combine it with baking soda. The solution of 75% baking soda and around 25% bleach can remove tough stained tile grouts easily.

First, mix them in a cup and apply them to a particular section of the tiles. If it works, then rub the floor with it. Wait for some time, like 30-45 minutes. And then wash it away.

Here are a few of the best cleaning bleaches we’ve found-

Product 1- Clorox clean-up bleach cleaner.
Product  2- Soft scrub bleach cleaner.

These methods will make your black bathroom tiles crystal clean. But that is not applicable for other tiles.  Different tiles need different cleaning processes. You can’t apply black bathroom tiles cleaning methods on natural stone tiles
